It is a dream to try and write a 50,000-word renga, but that would mean neverending verses! Maybe one of these days, I will be brave enough to take on that journey. For now, I have (and hate) to say that I withdrew from my unofficial annual NaPoWriMo for this month of November even before it started. Traditionally, many writers would be participating in NaNoWriMo, but for me, I'm a poet. Writing a novel is a bit too difficult for me, so I usually do my own November NaPo. Unfortunately, my November NaPo didn't happen as school and life got in the way. Nevertheless, I can always look forward to April's official NaPo in 2010! I can't wait! Interestingly, I guess I can safely say that I didn't ignore November NaPo completely as one of my writing projects was to experiment with a solo renga. I guess November wasn't a lost cause after all.

a paper doll

laid down

Reading it once again, it was an interesting piece, but I wish I had more time to work on it! Sadly, the last day was the 16th of November. I'm sure it would have ended nicely. I hope you, my dear friends and readers, have enjoyed reading this piece.

More autumn greetings! Here's another monthly update of haiku, senryu, tanka, and other short form poetry for the month of OCTOBER! I've also been experimenting with fragmentary writing (#fraglit) and a renga with several Twitter poets (#twenkuxp).

For those of you who would prefer to get an instant daily update instead, check out my Twitter page on the sidebar. :) Please (re-)enjoy!!
